Insulation in. Siding begun. :-) When Mom's HAPPY ;-) Everyone gets to be HAPPY!

Since the last update, lots of progress has been made on the house. Plumbing and Electrical roughing is complete and passed inspection. Insulation is all in and passed inspection. Sheetrock is on it's 2nd day of installation (as I type this.) 1/3 of the house is finished being sheetrocked. Siding had begun but then we had FREEZING Temperatures, and SNOW (SURPRISE- it's been a SNOWY 4 weeks- that's all I can say) and now the guy is sick on top of that. So HOPEFULLY after today's snowstorm, it will be a GO again for the insulation to begin again. ( Newest prediction 7- 12 inches of new snow tonight through tomorrow morning- on top of the already 10 inches that is already on the ground from the past few weeks auugghhh- I like SNOW but ENOUGH ALREADY- I have a house that I have to get out of by the middle of March and a NEW ONE WAITING PATIENTLY TO GET INTO :-)

Garage Doors have been delivered and installed. They look AWESOME. (anything looks better than blue tarps drapped across the openings of the garages ;-) PSE&G has come and installed our new gas line. Waiting for United Water to come and install the new Water line, then we can unstall and run the heat in the house so that the taping and spackling guy can come and finish that task. Then the floors can be installed, the kitchen and appliances can get installed and then we can trim and paint and MOVE BACK HOME! :-) SO here are some pictures/ short video that I've taken of the Insulation. It's hard to show all of the progress cause you really can't appreciate through pictures, the plumbing and electrical work that has been done.

ENJOY FOR NOW!

This is the east side of the house where they started the siding. The color is called Hearthstone. The sides and back of the house will be "smooth". And the front will have a cedar impressions look to it. When it gets installed, I'll post a picture. They did this side first so that they could get all the utilities (electrical, gas and water meters) attached to the outside of the house.
This is the garage. Stairs on the left hand side are the stairs to go up into the main floor of the house. The stairs on the right hand side are the stairs to get down into the basement/Tanya's room.
PROUD POPPA!
PROUD MOMMA with 2 of her girls!
This is our new bathtub that was delivered and installed. AND THEN, Chris found a big old chip in the tub. :-(  Now it has to be UNINSTALLED and taken back and a new one needs to be delivered.  aauugghhhhhh These are the things that cause everything else to get backed up.
McKayla's room
Master Bedroom
View from Bedroom "wing" looking into the kitchen area and (off to the right) the sunroom.
View from the front of the house. Front door (not installed yet) and front porch.
View looking from foyer into sunroom (left) and the family room with fireplace (right) and where all the boxes are is the dining area. It's a dining/ kitchen area combined. No formal dining room.

Front view of the house. It's hard to get a full on view of the house because we have 2 storage units in the front yard. PLUS we have 2 trees that block the full view too. So this view is standing in the driveway looking to the West. Spanning left to right: Garages, front porch, little window is Master bathroom window, front window is Master bedroom window.

 GARAGE DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McKayla's room sheetrocked. These "guys" have a little propane griddle set up in that room and were heating up Tortilla shells for lunch.  FUNNY.  :-)
ONE THING THAT IS NOT FUNNY,  is that while I was looking around and checking out the progress of the work being done, I found in a couple of places on the floor, SOMEONE thought they were outside and spit some DISGUSTING LOOGIES on MY FLOOR. I don't care that it is an unfinished floor, WHO DOES THAT?????  GROSS!
 Family room with fireplace
Ceiling in the Living Room sheetrocked
View from standing in the family room, looking out to dining area and across where that light is shining is the foyer. Straight ahead, behind the sheetrock that is leaning on the wall, where you see the tops of the window is the living room.
